Gosh..it is the month of December already! haha..wohooo! On a sad note, saving up for final year tuition fee and only going for a short break to Malaysia is suffering! haha It has been years..yes! years since I went for a real holiday! On a happier note...I get to get out of Singapore for a few days next week :)))
Been whining alot about being stuck in Sg..Few days back, I was talking to my sister, I kept repeating to my sis almost everyday >Why...whyyy am I still here in Sg, I need to get out! Why cant the Msia trip be this week instead of next week...whyyyyy whyyy. (Those are the exact words I said to my sis aha..) Her only reply to me was to shut up, I guess her reply is justified hehe.
While waiting for this precious short trip, I am reading 'The Little Prince'. Aside from it's rave reviews from my friends and the media, the book is special to me. You see....I bought this book while my family and I were discovering the flea market at Changi Village at night. It was such a beautiful night and enjoying it with my family is the icing on the cake! The flea market itself is unique ..and that was where I found a small tent. In it, there were books on two small bookshelves and on the table. It feels roomy :) And that was where I bought the book. Minus the mugs, varse space and customer service people who depend on comp to know a book..I find the the small tent ...nice. The 'book man' asked me why I chose the book...and bashfully I said the only reason is because my friends have been quoting from the book..and I know nothing of it.
Thus..the book reminds me of the good times we had on that night...the night my niece, Insyirah, insisted on my mum holding up the umbrella for her even though it was not raining haha ..She also got a balloon teddy bear and the most enjoyment she got out of it was chewing it and squishing it till parts of the teddy bear burst! Jaabir got a viking hat and a sword to go along with it. It was like taking the kids out for halloween haha ..(Oh it was the Halloween night n we did saw a few ang moh kids dressed up for the halloween ..checking out the stalls hehe so cute!)
Oh well...with such a good book perfumed with special memories..I'm sure I can wait a few more days for the trip. :)
